Filmmaker Scott Parejo was on facebook perusing his news feed, when a picture caught his eye. It was a picture of an ultrasound, shared by a pregnant friend. What should have brought to mind precious things like baby clothes and play things, instead conjured up something entirely different in his mind.

The Shredder has died. As the leader of the Foot Clan he provided no shortage of obstacle and offense to The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles over the years. His very personal battle against Splinter and the boys was seemingly never ending and while he was indeed evil and a villain of the highest order his focus and drive could not be disregarded. He was a bad guy, but without the bad guys our heroes could not be heroes.
Disney is gearing up for another Star Wars Weekend and this time around they own all things to do with that franchise so it should be the biggest and best yet. This will take place at the Florida theme park most likely during the summer of this year and you can expect appearance by Ray Park, Warwick Davis and many more.

The 12 finalists of the Marvel’s Iron Man 3: Inventor and Innovator Fair will win a trip to Southern California, provided by Visa Signature. The trip includes a behind-the-scenes tour of Disney Studios, a meeting with Disney Imagineers, a trip to Disneyland, a visit to Discovery Science Center, and more! Inventor and Innovator Fair finalists will also have their projects on display at the famous El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California, from May 3 – June 20. The competition concludes at the El Capitan Theatre on May 3 when four Grand Prize winners will accept their awards at a special ceremony, on stage prior to the showing of Marvel’s “Iron Man 3.”

Marvel Comics is branching out again and looking to put together a live-action arena show. They are currently working with Feld Entertainment in creating the show. Feld has worked with Barnum and Bailey Circus before along with Disney on Ice. Marvel is working very closely with Feld in order to create something that is both fun abut true to the Marvel mythos as well. More news as it develops.

To all those that didn’t know and those that do too….SimCity launched a week ago and due to the mis-management of the Digital Rights Management by EA. A lot has been said and little done in regards to it and a large number of fans and players were faced with not being able to play this game they had looked forward to and paid for. The oft used Hitler Rant Parody has been re-subtitled once more to pay homage to this SimCity screw up. Enjoy.
