SEGA Europe and SEGA of America Inc. in a partnership with Double Fine Productions, are jumping over the hillbilly moon to announce the launch date and price for the upcoming adventure game, The Cave. Created by legendary game designer Ron Gilbert, The Cave will be available on January 22nd in North America and on the 23rd January in Europe for the PlayStation Network for $14.99. On January 23rd, it will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system for 1200 MSP and Steam for $14.99. The release date for the Nintendo eShop on Wii U will be announced soon.

FuturLab’s hit PlayStation minis title Velocity won the award for Best Arcade Game 2012 by a small studio, whilst 4J studios won the large studio category for Minecraft on XBLA.

High Moon’s newest Transformers offering is almost here. It hits shelves on Tuesday, August 21st.
