With Tim Burton’s stop motion animation Frankenweenie just released last weekend it is time to look back at his most classic of stop motion films in Disney’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Before it was the full fledged feature it started out as a poem and some art by Burton himself. It transformed into a short film read by the great Christopher Lee and was turned into a more conventional animation. Halloween grows closer daily so take a look at this origin of sorts for Jack Skellington and the rest of his creepy and cooky cohorts.
