Daredevil:End of Days #1(of 8) – A Fizmarble Review

Comic Reviews, Comics

(THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS)

Daredevil has always been a tragic character to me. Much like Spider-man he chose a super heroes life and in the living of it has saved many others lives and done much good. Like Spidey though his life has been full of great harms and horrors directly affecting him and his loved ones. He is a character who while he doesn’t feel sorry for himself he indeed questions himself and the whys and hows. More Marvel NOW (All New X-Men)

Comics

What was old is new again. Brian Michael Bendis and Stuart Immonen will be the creative team behind this new book that will start up in November. Your eyes do not decieve you. Those are the 5 original X-Men (Angel, Jean Grey or Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Beast and Iceman) and due to events, we as of yet do not fully know they are brought to the modern day and get to see what their lives have helped create. A lot has happened over the years. All of these people have been changed in very big ways…mind, body and soul. It will be very interesting to see how they deal with things and what they will do knowing now what they didn’t know then.

With Marvel this is a new beginning as well but not a reboot or reimagining. Just a new direction for Marvel’s cast of characters. The history stands but the future is one of a more overall cohesive Marvel universe with their films, comics, games and more. This whole new direction is occuring under the Marvel Now banner and anything with that logo will fall into that new direction. Continue reading
