There has been a lot of talk regarding the casting for Star Lord in The Guardians of the Galaxy lately with a number of actors up for the role. Today we have learned that another character in the movie, Drax the Destroyer is also currently being cast and that list is much smaller for those being approached for it.
Former WWE Wrestler and current Hollyood actor Dave Bautista, Isaiah Mustafa (the Old Spice Guy) and Brian Patrick Wade, who has appeared mostly in television roles are apparently all in negotiations for the role. It calls for a big man with a mean disposition. Out of these three I see Bautista being able to pull it off best but maybe the other two have impressed in auditions.
